If you love Disney, its parks, its media, and its merch, listen up.
So I work for Disneyland, and we are talking about striking very soon. So soon, in fact, that we've been hosting rallies just outside of the parks. Yesterday was the 69th birthday of Disneyland Anaheim... it was also a monumental rally.
I haven't seen anyone on tumblr talking about the impending strikes against Disney. Not even going through the Disney tags or searching tumblr for "Disneyland Strike."
Let's talk about why we're striking:
Cost of living in the immediate SoCal region is nearly 2x as much as we are getting paid.
Cast members that have worked for the company for long periods of time are still paid as mucha s new hires.
Disney has showed up to union negotiations with insulting offers, including at 25 cent raise. Most cast members make $19.90
Disney rarely schedules you. In some areas and departments, you are fighting with your fellow cast members for hours. I have heard of cast members who are only scheduled for 1 4-hour shift per week. Many of those cast members have upwards of an hour commute to and from work.
Disney Admin has told attractions castmembers [so: rides, rollercoasters, and anything fun you get to do and see at the parks] that we are losing them money, which is why they refuse to schedule us and pay us. In the words of my partner, who also works at the parks, Disney without attractions is an over glorified mall and a food court. Disney needs us, and they know it, but they do not respect us.
Disney has an unfair attendance policy. It can be very difficult to get a needed day off, even when it has been requested weeks or months in advance. When you do take a day off [with-out accrued sick or vacation time] it counts against you. You can have 3 a month, 6 in 90 days, 9 in 180 days, or 12 in a year. How do you accrue sick/vacation? Hours worked, which can be impossible with the scheduling practices mentioned above. (Most cast members trade shifts among themselves to get around this.)
Cast members feel unsafe and unsupported in the parks. Many cast members have felt threatened by entitled guests upset that they are following policy. Disney Leads and Managers have to say yes to these guests and make things happen, though. [Which only makes this behavior worse and more dangerous for cast members who are only doing their job.]
Cast members also report feeling threatened, or even being literally threatened, by management in the parks. Especially cast members who have a second job. Especially cast members who know their rights.
Further, cast members work in hazardous conditions with pay that does not reflect that. Many cast members report losses of hearing, sore throats, and severe back and shoulder pain. Cast members are also exposed to infectious diseases at a much higher rate.

Why PHP is called?

PHP originally stood for "Personal Home Page," as it was created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994 to help him manage his personal webpage. However, over time, PHP's capabilities expanded beyond just personal web pages, and its acronym's meaning evolved as well.
PHP's acronym has gone through several changes:
Personal Home Page (PHP)
PHP was initially created by Rasmus Lerdorf as a set of tools to manage his personal homepage, which mainly consisted of displaying his résumé and keeping track of visitors.
The first version of PHP was known as "Personal Home Page Tools" or "PHP Tools."
Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP)
As PHP's capabilities grew to include more complex scripting and programming features, it was rebranded to "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor" to reflect its role in processing dynamic web content.
The recursive acronym "PHP" now stands for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor." This name emphasizes its ability to preprocess hypertext (HTML) and dynamically generate web content.
The name "Hypertext Preprocessor" reflects PHP's primary function as a server-side scripting language used for generating dynamic content, processing forms, interacting with databases, and performing various other web-related tasks. PHP scripts are embedded within HTML code and are executed on the server, generating HTML that is then sent to the client's browser. This process allows websites to provide dynamic and interactive experiences for users.
In summary, PHP is called "Hypertext Preprocessor" because it processes hypertext (HTML) and dynamically generates web content on the server side. While its acronym has changed its meaning over time, it's now recognized as a versatile scripting language for web development.

So, I’ve been thinking about the KND Mourning AU by arty0315
& the Toiletnator SPY Au made by U & I can’t help but wonder…What if Lou as the Toiletnator sees Mella & Evan’s graves during a mission?
how would he react? Would he break character? What would he do after words? Would he tell anyone? Would Irwin know about it & perhaps talk about it with him over a drink or 2(considering he’s seen the graves before) Would Lou be upset that Irwin never told him?
considering he’s a SPY for the KND he probably feels some guilt over not saving those 2 kids like”My job is to protect children, yet I couldn’t even save 2” unless I’m wrong whiz in this case, I’m stupid as all hell XD
anyways thanks for reading so much of this
I think he might go through some stages like everyone else. As always, Mourning AU by @artsygirl0315
[tw: drinking, self-destruction, death]
Stage 1: Denial

He was called to check on Sector PHP, who's been acting strange in the last days. Upon arriving, he announced himself with his usual self-confident, loud introduction... which got cut short when he saw the graves. From there, all kinds of emotions went through him, but most of all, he couldn't believe that two KIDS were apparently gone. And he didn't know about it. No one told him about it. Or... maybe no one knew about it.
His "visit" was cut short as Phoebe kicked him out. No one is allowed, villains especially.
But even after he was gone, he had many questions and a familiar, heavy feeling in his heart.
--
Stage 2: Anger

As he returned to the Adult Division, he felt rage growing and he decided to let it out by destroying some of the landscape around himself. Trees were knocked down, rocks were smashed, but nothing could calm those feelings that were just getting more and more persistent.
Did Vicky know and just didn't tell him? Did Moonbase know and didn't tell them? What the fuck was happening there? Why were two kids dead???
--
Stage 3: Bargaining

He started to get low on energy. He fell down on his knees, crying as he had never done in years.
They could've taken him! He was an adult, he lived long enough! Those kids had a LOT to live for! They had to grow up, fulfil their dreams, and see the world... and everything was just cut short. And he couldn't do anything about it. He failed his mission of keeping kids safe from the other side.
This brought him to past times he thought were gone, but now made every single scar from those times hurt like hell. It was like he failed one of his siblings again.
Taking off that costume he now felt he couldn't wear anymore, he walked up to a place he shouldn't even be close to: a bar.
--
Stage 4: Depression

He was worthless. He was a disgrace. He should've died after falling from that cliff. He should have said no to Vicky when she proposed for him to join the Adult Division. He was ready to push daisies and quit; he couldn't go on after what happened.
He ordered a drink. And another. And another. And again, another one. The taste of alcohol helped him relax, and slowly he got intoxicated enough that his bad feelings were almost gone. He had missed it, after 7 long years of nothing.
He didn't even notice someone sat next to him.
--
Stage 5: Acceptance

As he was about to take another sip, the bottle was taken from his hand. He turned to see who DARED to do it... just to find the last person he wanted to see. "This shit is bad for you." Irwin let out. "You get addicted easily and end up destroying yourself." "So what? I deserve this." Lou replied, already intoxicated, looking away from the other man. "... Numbuh 510 told me about your visit. ... you saw them, didn't you." Lou got up, grasping on Irwin's shirt and pulling him closer to his face. "YOU KNEW?? YOU'VE BEEN KNOWING THIS FOR THIS WHOLE TIME AND NEVER SAID ANYTHING?? WHY???" Irwin sighed. "Because I made a promise. They want to handle it their own way. And if we interfere, we risk losing all of them. Do you understand?"
Lou slowly let go of the shirt, his words settling into his foggy mind. He was silent for a moment before he looked up at him.
"What do we do now...?"
"We wait."
He didn't like that answer. Tears started rolling down his cheeks as he sat down once more, resting both arms on the counter and burying his head into them, as he started crying again, more desperate.
Irwin patted his back, taking away the last bottle he ordered. He knew too well where that was coming from.
It will take time.
--
Aftermath:

Lou took 3 days off his spy duty (not that anyone but people in the Adult Division noticed). He stayed at Vicky's house because he didn't want to be alone.
Vicky noticed how he somehow became milder than his usual self, almost shutting down and not caring about anything. Irwin visited every single day, making sure he was ok. He didn't even answer Sydney's calls or texts in those days.
Eventually, he got back to his usual self. He just needed those days to calm down completely. He assured Vicky he was ready to get back to his duties, and then, the Toiletnator was back into the Villains' lines.
Searching.
Because if it was an adult villain who did it...
One single adult life for two kids' sounded unfair. But good enough to him.
#side b#mourning au#lou beetles#irwin stevens#victoria maccrimmon#sector php#toiletnator#ohoh is that a bit of lore on Lou's past while he was missing?? Maybe...#artsygirl0315

SQL Fundamentals #1: SQL Data Definition
Last year in college , I had the opportunity to dive deep into SQL. The course was made even more exciting by an amazing instructor . Fast forward to today, and I regularly use SQL in my backend development work with PHP. Today, I felt the need to refresh my SQL knowledge a bit, and that's why I've put together three posts aimed at helping beginners grasp the fundamentals of SQL.
Understanding Relational Databases
Let's Begin with the Basics: What Is a Database?
Simply put, a database is like a digital warehouse where you store large amounts of data. When you work on projects that involve data, you need a place to keep that data organized and accessible, and that's where databases come into play.
Exploring Different Types of Databases
When it comes to databases, there are two primary types to consider: relational and non-relational.
Relational Databases: Structured Like Tables
Think of a relational database as a collection of neatly organized tables, somewhat like rows and columns in an Excel spreadsheet. Each table represents a specific type of information, and these tables are interconnected through shared attributes. It's similar to a well-organized library catalog where you can find books by author, title, or genre.
Key Points:
Tables with rows and columns.
Data is neatly structured, much like a library catalog.
You use a structured query language (SQL) to interact with it.
Ideal for handling structured data with complex relationships.
Non-Relational Databases: Flexibility in Containers
Now, imagine a non-relational database as a collection of flexible containers, more like bins or boxes. Each container holds data, but they don't have to adhere to a fixed format. It's like managing a diverse collection of items in various boxes without strict rules. This flexibility is incredibly useful when dealing with unstructured or rapidly changing data, like social media posts or sensor readings.
Key Points:
Data can be stored in diverse formats.
There's no rigid structure; adaptability is the name of the game.
Non-relational databases (often called NoSQL databases) are commonly used.
Ideal for handling unstructured or dynamic data.
Now, Let's Dive into SQL:
SQL is a :
Data Definition language ( what todays post is all about )
Data Manipulation language
Data Query language
Task: Building and Interacting with a Bookstore Database
Setting Up the Database
Our first step in creating a bookstore database is to establish it. You can achieve this with a straightforward SQL command:
CREATE DATABASE bookstoreDB;
SQL Data Definition
As the name suggests, this step is all about defining your tables. By the end of this phase, your database and the tables within it are created and ready for action.
1 - Introducing the 'Books' Table
A bookstore is all about its collection of books, so our 'bookstoreDB' needs a place to store them. We'll call this place the 'books' table. Here's how you create it:
CREATE TABLE books ( -- Don't worry, we'll fill this in soon! );
Now, each book has its own set of unique details, including titles, authors, genres, publication years, and prices. These details will become the columns in our 'books' table, ensuring that every book can be fully described.
Now that we have the plan, let's create our 'books' table with all these attributes:
CREATE TABLE books ( title VARCHAR(40), author VARCHAR(40), genre VARCHAR(40), publishedYear DATE, price INT(10) );
With this structure in place, our bookstore database is ready to house a world of books.
2 - Making Changes to the Table
Sometimes, you might need to modify a table you've created in your database. Whether it's correcting an error during table creation, renaming the table, or adding/removing columns, these changes are made using the 'ALTER TABLE' command.
For instance, if you want to rename your 'books' table:
ALTER TABLE books RENAME TO books_table;
If you want to add a new column:
ALTER TABLE books ADD COLUMN description VARCHAR(100);
Or, if you need to delete a column:
ALTER TABLE books DROP COLUMN title;
3 - Dropping the Table
Finally, if you ever want to remove a table you've created in your database, you can do so using the 'DROP TABLE' command:
DROP TABLE books;
To keep this post concise, our next post will delve into the second step, which involves data manipulation. Once our bookstore database is up and running with its tables, we'll explore how to modify and enrich it with new information and data. Stay tuned ...

USEFUL TIPS FOR ANYONE USING NEOCITIES
So, I saw this super awesome post called BEGINNERS GUIDE TO BLUESKY and it more or less inspired me to make a post of my own pertaining to the the likes of Neocities.
What is Neocities?
Long story short, it is an open-source web hosting service that is both F2U (1 GB storage/200 GB bandwidth) and P2U (50 GB storage/3000 GB bandwidth). It's kinda sorta a spiritual successor to the now defunct GeoCities.
Why Use Neocities?
HELPFUL LINKS
Neocities has a full on Tutorials Page to help people wanting to learning how to code. Though I will say that I'm a bit surprised they don't have W3 Schools on there.
CREATIVE FREEDOM
If you Browse on Neocities, you will see how vastly different all of the websites look. That being said, you have an enormous amount of creative freedom when it comes to making your website. You can build it from scratch or look up some pre-made templates from websites such as templatemo, HTML5 Templates, TEMPLATED, template4all, and many more.
Now it is important to note that Neocities doesn't allow certain things such as jQuery, PHP, Python, SQL, etc. In fact, the only things allowed on Neocities are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! Though I do think it is important to note that you can turn your website into a blog using Zonelets, have a Guestbook/Comments Section with Guestbooks, embed your Bluesky feed with Embed Bsky, embed your Twitter/X feed with Twitter Publish, and much more!
What Do People Use Neocities For?
Some people use it for blogging & portfolio & educational purposes. Some people use it to share their writings & artwork & music. Some people use it to help people with finding neat things. Some people use it for shits and giggles. There are legitimately a number of reasons people use it and you know what? That's 100% a-okay!
Are Any Programs Required To Use Neocities?
Technically, no. The reason I say this is because Neocities has a built-in HTML Editor. However, I don't like using it unless if I absolutely have to (which is next to never). Instead, I use Brackets. It's very user-friendly and it legit lets you know if there's a goof somewhere in your code. Legit 10 out of 10 recommend. Though I will say that some people use Notepad++.

Isabela: A Novel—My Reading Journey | I dove into this book thinking that I was going to read a historical fiction saga set in the mountains of Isabela. The prologue, "A Woman Wounded,” opens with Ka Julia being shot. I was immediately hooked and excited to witness Julia’s life in the mountains, her past, and the events that led her to this moment. Then I turned the page, and I was met with something else…
It took me a while to get into the narrative. The expectation I had going in might have contributed to that, but I guess the biggest question in my mind as I was reading was “why is this a novel and not a short story collection?” Isabela is told in converging voices, in characters with overlapping names and stories. In the beginning, I was fighting with the book, grasping for the characters' names, dates, narratives to ground me… but they continued to shift and move, so I decided to stop trying to wrestle and go with the flow. That’s when I began to enjoy the stories.
How the novel plays with time is perhaps the most interesting and enjoyable part for me to witness. There are dates, natural disasters, and landmark political events to pin the dates for most of the stories, and yet time inside the novel feels vague, ungraspable, unpinnable. Even as I finished reading don’t have a clear perception of the time these characters occupy, especially with respect to each other. And that’s on the author’s craftsmanship. Between the repetition of names and the feeling of deja vu throughout the novel, I got a lowkey One Hundred Years of Solitude vibe, which honestly makes my heart flutter a bit.
The different narratives are framed by the story of Julia. Perhaps in the same way that the people of Isabela are shaped by poverty, violence, agrarian issues, political climate, and contours of the land. Between the corrupt administration, ineffective policies, and climate violence we all are subjected to, how different are we, really? The names will overlap, the situations will overlap, the faces will overlap. We cannot help it. In this place we call home, we are forced to face the same violence every day of our lives. In this place we call home we keep going—despite, despite, despite.
Ateneo University Press kindly sent me a copy of this book to review. However, you can grab a copy through their Lazada and Shopee stores for only 450 Php.

Common Things Vulnerable to Y2K38 (+ Explanation)
I want to compile a list of things I find that are vulnerable to the Y2K38 bug. If you find any I don't know about, I can add them to the list. But first, an explanation...
What is Y2K38?
For those that aren't aware, past January 19, 2038 at 3:14:07 UTC (2038-01-19T03:14:07Z), the number of seconds since midnight of January 1, 1970 (1970-01-01T00:00:00Z) will surpass 2^31 - 1.
So what are the implications of this? It has to do with how computers store time.
The Unix epoch is defined as the number of seconds since January 1, 1970, and this is universal to both Unix and Windows systems (so virtually every single computer that doesn't have a homemade operating system). The issue is what specific types of numbers are used to store the epoch.
There are two properties to an integer type: size and sign. The size dictates how many bits a number can hold, and the sign dictates whether or not the integer can store negative numbers. If the number is unsigned, it will be able to store numbers ranging from zero to 2^n - 1, where n is the size of the integer in bits. This means that an 8-bit unsigned number can hold numbers ranging from 0 to 255, because 2^8 - 1 is 255. If a number is signed, the positive range is cut in half. Signed numbers range from -2^(n - 1) to 2^(n - 1) - 1. This means that an 8-bit signed integer can hold numbers ranging from -128 to 127, as -2^7 is -128, and 2^7 - 1 is 127. As integers are used to store the Unix epoch, this means that the epoch is limited to the range of the integer type you use to store it.
If you decide to use a 32-bit signed integer to store the Unix epoch, then once the epoch reaches 2^31 - 1 (which is the upper limit of 32-bit signed integers and is around 2.1 billion), the epoch won't be able to increase anymore. So what happens when we try to increase it anyways? We get an integer overflow.
Due to how CPUs add numbers together, when the result of an operation is larger than the range of the integer type, the result is wrapped around. For example, if you have the number 127 in an 8-bit signed integer, adding one will wrap around to -128! This is a problem for the epoch, because now, instead of storing 2.1 billion seconds past January 1, 1970, it will now be storing 2.1 billion seconds before 1970, which goes all the way back to December 1901!
So why not just use a bigger number? Well, it's not really that simple. There has been an effort to switch over to 64-bit integers, which has an overwhelmingly generous range of around 21 times the estimated age of the universe. However, there are some systems that just can't change or haven't changed for a variety of reasons, and this is what the list will be about. There are two main causes for the Y2K38 bug, and most vulnerabilities stem from them:
32-bit representation of of time_t: time_t is the integer type that time is stored in. When a C program calls the time() function, it will receive a time_t. If time_t is 32-bits long, then the time() function will be vulnerable.
Downcasting the result of time(): There's a pattern in programming I like to call "int-defaultness". C's primitive types are not named with sizes. Instead, they are called 'char', 'short', 'int', and 'long'. These types are standardised to be at least 8 bits, 16 bits, 32 bits, and 64 bits respectively, but most platforms just use those sizes exactly. Usually, you would use exact-sized types like int16_t, uint64_t, and so on, or if it's a function like time(), you would use time_t. However, it is a common pattern to default to int as an integer type, and someone who isn't careful may just convert the result of the time() function into an int. This is known as downcasting, which is the conversion from one integer type to a smaller one. Regardless of whether or not time_t is 32 bits or 64 bits, this downcast will always convert the time to 32 bits, and the overflow behaviour will apply, leaving PHP vulnerable.
As you can see, the time() function is the root cause of the bug, and due to its popularity, usages and mimics of time() can be left vulnerable.
So, without further ado, here is...
The List of Vulnerabilities
PHP time() function: PHP has a time() function that acts very similar to C's, and if the size of a PHP int is 32 bits, PHP is left vulnerable.
pcap file format: The pcap file format (used by libpcap, which is used by utilities like tcpdump and Wireshark) is a format for storing captured packets, and the specification states that the timestamps of packets must stored in a 32-bit unsigned integer. Luckily, since it is unsigned, this will overflow in the year 2106, but there is still some vulnerability here. The PcapNG file format uses 64-bit timestamps, which prevents the vulnerability.
Embedded systems: Smaller computers have a tendency towards lower bit-widths, and 32 bits is common. Embedded systems control things like radios, elevators, GPSes, and more things that don't require heaps of computation power. These systems commonly define time_t to be 32 bits, making them vulnerable.

I started group today. Well... yesterday 🤔. To me it feels like I took a nap and now it's still Tuesday. Except the nap was from 4pm-midnight 🙃. Anywho...
So I started the MBT group and it wasn't bad. My therapist yesterday (Monday) asked how I was feeling about being back on the campus and I laughed and then was like oh yea you don't know. I drive by it on occasion, being back on the campus is nothing new plus did I not mention to her that I visited a friend inpatient a month ago? Hmm.
So the group. "So let's start with introductions, your name, how you spend your days (cue panic), and what you hope to achieve from group". First lady went and mentioned she's not working these days (phew), younger dude went, said same thing, older guy went, same so when it was my turn I felt a lot more relief.
The doctor who runs the group mentioned she also works at the local hospital in the ER and my immediate thought was ha, wonder if I'll be seeing you soon.
But overall it wasn't bad. We just went over MBT and BPD. I haven't been in an outpatient group (not counting PHP) since covid. I haven't been in the outpatient building since the fall before covid so it was strange as fuck. But it was so nice seeing the guy and lady who run the front desk there. I wanted to say to them after group how I remember them from before covid and it was nice seeing a familiar face but I told myself to just shut up.
I called the PACT office to schedule an appointment with my therapist for Thursday and the communication with the front desk was weird. I thought I could schedule it with the guy who answers the phones but he asked if I wanted to talk to her and I said yes stupidly, so he went to see if she was available and said she wasn't. I tried telling him it was fine if it was like a relayed message back and forth and that I could do anytime Thursday morning but he said he'd have her call me and she never called.
Part of me thinks she might not have gotten the message but the other part is like what if she did, don't bother her again, just wait. But what if I don't hear from her and she says why didn't you reach back out.. Ugh..
She said she's not in the office tomorrow but I may text her work phone even though it doesn't let her text back. Just to be like "hey, don't know if you got the message or not but I'll try calling back Thursday morning". Ughhh, what's the point. Maybe I won't even reach out again.

can you tell us about the worldbuilding of your new au?
Why of course!
To start this off though, let me tell you a fun little thing about the Blog AU that is built in!
We made this AU with the idea that people who read it can put their characters into it. You know the Cafe AU that everyone is sticking their OCs in? You can do something similar! The fic is going to be canon to y'all but y'all won't be 100% canon to the fic so you guys can interact with the canon! So we genuinely encourage you guys to make outside content and make your OCs blogs or designs for this. Go crazy with it and join in! I will eventually need usernames and a few other things for the blog/forum skins. If you make anything, make sure to tag me on here (and if it's on Instagram, I'm Lixxendraws). I want you guys to be able to draw/write your characters in this AU because it'd be such a fun thing to do!
Anyways.
There are a few doodles of their official outfit designs but I don't like how they look. But I will post them eventually!
Here is the world building Under The Cut
Branch's Kismet identity is Bass while his in person one is Lapis for the sake of his safety and privacy.
Technology:
Napbug: digital audio sharing website whereP3 files are shared. Mostly for music rips and downloads
TOL: the internet hosting. Mostly known for the chatroom they speak on. You need to know the person's connection code to directly connect to them. You can chat on it and view forums/blogs directly from their TOL. You can have up to four identifications per computer
PHP (personal homepage): the blog domains they use. They can be reached outside of TOL, along with personal forums
Trollums: the nicknames for forums. You can find people's TOL & PHP on trollums and it is how people mostly find blogs
BeeperBugs (beepers): little hugs that act like pagers. They will send and receive messages somehow (they never figures it out). You will hear them beep and they can carry codes; you can put them onto landlines and they will put in the numbers. They also can use Morse code to send messages instead of needing calls.
Computers: dial up computers. They are simple and can connect to CD drives (not built in), VHS players, floppy disks, cassettes, and can burn CDs/DVDs. They're big and chunky; no laptops. Internet cafes and libraries are popular due to not as many people having them. People learn coding to break and customize them
Cassettes and MP3 players: they are popular and do not have earbuds. Only over ear headphones that are wired.
Very basic printer/fax machines that run off landlines
Televisions: tube/box TVs. Podbuster is a popular VHS and DVD rental/store. DVDs are barely used due to being new
Film cameras are very much still used and popular. People will develop themselves or take them to the library to be digitalized. There's services to develop photos still
Zines exist! They will be produced by a group of fans and sent out. They will trade items or find ways to collect money to pay for them. You will find forums dedicated to zines and posting zines months after print release. There is big fan culture
Blogs are every big. Normally personal blogs will interact with each other and have fun; but then there's fan blogs. They only post about their interests and will post some personal stuff. They're almost always anonymous unless you directly know them.
Blog lore:
PinkBandLyfe is a popular BroZone and Kismet blog that always has the best images, videos, and MP3s. They've nicknamed the blog owner Pinkie and know her bias is Clay, but since she is around Bitty B’s age, she has a soft spot for him. Bass in Kismet is her bias. But since Bass is a private person she promotes healthy boundaries and privacy. She preaches for Bitty B and Bass’s privacy. She's speculated a few times but that's it. Everyone gives her her privacy and keep her identity secret since she is big on that and they respect her (and fear her disappearing). Her blog is chaotic but well organized and out together!
BatterBug is a survival/doomsday blog that people learn survival skills from and it talks about literally everything and anything about tragedy and skills to use in them. They call the owner BB and call him paranoid. But it's useful so he has a following
ReverbFan27 is a Bad Hair Day blog that isn't as in-depth as PinkBandLyfe. The blog is run by the user who has been nicknamed 27. He tends to be more practical and people enjoy watching him ramble about the technical aspects of the performances. They know his older brother, who is nicknames Ef, was into them first and got 27 into it. They only know that, he is a Billy Reverb bias, and he is the youngest child. The rest is a secret. They speculate who he is because sometimes he has the best pictures of BHD. But they haven't figured it out yet. He's VERY organized
Everybody knows Pinkie and 27 are friends and they helped each other get popular. Sometimes you will see them give each other content to post! 27 somehow has never before seen BroZone stuff or will mention he has rare collectibles that Pinkie lives for
People ship Pinkie and 27. They laugh and brush it off
Misc story lore that isn't spoilers:
Bergens made peace 10 years earlier when Poppy accidentally ran into Bridget when she ran off angrily. She helped Bridget on her own and it creates positive political ties!
The kingdoms live how they are post Trolls World Tour due to (unspecified) events happening! It is noted to happen a generation ago with King Thrash and King Peppy taking thrones
The kingdoms now have bigger populations and are more spread out! They have multiple cities and towns. Neighboring troll tribes now touch, but you must put in effort to travel
Royals freely live amongst their people in society due to respect from the people. They're big on “humanizing” the royals. Royals are not big on public appearances outside of their kingdoms. The ambassadors are the only ones seen in the wild
Branch spends his free time reading/writing in the coffee shop or in a library. He normally has his headphones on with a Walktroll (walkman). He lives to write his blog posts by hand first, so he writes them in the coffee shop. He also carries around a camera to take pictures of things. He develops them himself in his pod and put them on the walls if they're good then in albums if they're okay or bad. He has a TON of childhood photos from Rosiepuff, who died a natural death before he joined Kismet. He uses her camera. He so takes a ton of pictures of Kismet and sends them to Pinkie!

The rays of the midday sun seep into a familiar room’s willowy curtains, gently hitting the chiming phone atop the desk near the windows.

—multiple message notifications pop up on the lock screen under the name “sakiii”.
A hand quickly grabs the device and deft fingers immediately swipe at the notification block, typing up a reply as the phone unlocks.
While the phone continues to chime and replies and chats are exchanged, a mop of pink hair flutters as the owner of the mobile opens the room’s door, a happy skip in his step as he exits the dorm and walks out of the campus dormitories.
Yuuji had made plans with Kugisaki, Fushiguro, and Gojo-sensei last week—more like he was suddenly ordered to clear up his schedule without any preamble, but Yuuji didn’t care and just happily obliged because he originally didn’t have anything planned anyway. He wasn’t told why he needed to do so, though, so he was left to wander over to their meeting place without any context.
With a hum, Yuuji exits the chat interface and opens his phone’s map, finally reaching the exit of the campus.
As the warm outside air brushes over tan skin, his phone’s map then loads up directions to the place Yuuji inputted on the search bar. A series of left and right turns that looks akin to a maze pop into his view, and Yuuji prays that he won’t get lost following the guide.
When he takes a turn for the third time on the fourth intersection he’s passed, Yuuji is met with… a minor inconvenience: an old lady sprawled on the floor with fruits and vegetables littered around her.
With the time on his phone turning 1:05 PM, slowly nearing the supposed meeting time, Yuuji tilts his head in contemplation and takes a step.
——————————————
What should Yuuji do next? 1. Walk up to the old lady. OR 2. Turn around and look for another route.
POLL RESULTS: [Option 1] - 100% [Option 2] - 0%

Lil gift for @artsygirl0315 because I've been wanting to draw Sector PHP for a while and they gave me the idea for Irwin's role in the show time! Also she seems to like him so ksjadfhlaksjdfhajshdf thanks for liking my big boi!
Basically Irwin is an undercover Adult Operative whose task is to go around the world and check on all existing sectors, making sure they're prepared for everything and up to date with technology, weapons and vehicles!
He's probably the only Adult Division operative who can casually walk up to KND operatives and be "Hello, I've been tasked by Moonbase to check on you, you can call me Numbuh 442".
Yes, he gets to use the "Numbuh" appellative because... he needs to make operative believe he's actually a kid stuck in an adult body. When he reaches the Treehouse, he needs to: 1) Win the Sector's trust by making them believe the story (which, he's pretty good at it, kids DO believe he's a kid to) and 2) Get the sector to help him find a "cure".
He will leave little fake clues around the place the kids need to find and send moonbase, and once they collected them all, he will move to the next Sector. Sometimes villains will appear and he's not allowed to fight them, unless the situation gets too intense. But that rarely happens, all operatives are highly trained! If he DOES need to intervene because the Sector is not prepared... well... be ready to get an official call-out from the Soopreme Leader.
Once he leaves, he disappears from their lives, and unless they move on to become TND and then Adult Division members, they might never know what happened to Numbuh 442, the kid trapped into an adult body.
That's how I explain why he's not in the show, he's always around the world to play and test the kids!
For sector PHP, he did manage to convince them and have them help him, and maybe it was the first time he didn't want to leave a Sector because he had too much fun...

i bought a domain for my family to share i couldnt delibrareate what framework to use cuz im trying. to accommodate Pet Site on it. but i finilly decided on slim framework 4 + twig templates + doctrine. so im trying to figure out how that all waorks but i need to set up a homepage on my new domain
i will be honest neocities has SUCKED In recent years their server goes down constantly with no warning/maintenace logs. both your site frontend and the site editors. so visitors cant even access your site at random and its been happening more and more. like wtf is the issue. i used to pay for premium but like its not worth it at $5/mo..... just switch to a dedicated server host!!!!!! its actually cheaper unless you specifically want more than like 10 static sites. im using hostinger.
also hostinger used to have 000webhost which is ran my test site and they nuked it >:( so i switched my test site to infinityfree. which is running lovely. and support seems responsive there and helps you figure out how to work around free account limitations, like no domain e-mail.
anyway i was working off an old pet site framework called mysidia addoptables from like 2011 (last release was 2021) but recently i decided i cant work with it anymore it's too janky, dated, and just messed up 😅 i love the community that still hangs around it but the code is FUUUUUUCKED. so i'm starting from scratch...
this is also still my firsrt foray into php but mysidia has taught me BAD HABITS.... i literally have a folder of screenshots where i just screencap the code and soyjak at how bad it is. (why did you install smarty template and htmlpurifier and then... barely use them..........)
ANYWAYS. all my pet site progress is no longer very easy to catalog cuz it's just boring code. but by god it's easier to figure out how to roadmap it now that i'm not working with the stupidiest base code. i guess you can look at these upcoming pets tho :^) (wont be released til i draw all their other painted forms)

I don't like talking about twitter drama anywhere but I just found the funniest twitter drama I've seen and it's literally about turon (a filipino snack made up of a fried wrapped banana with glazed sugar). Here's the translated thread as I guide you to this insanity:
"I SCOLDED CASHIERS AT SM MANILA SUPERMARKET. The line to buy a turon was long and there were only a few turon left on the stand. I was in the middle of the line and there was a lot more people behind me that wanted to avail a turon."
"There were 2 cashiers that were on break or had clocked out maybe that went to the cashier of the turon stand, and I heard that they were trying to reserve 2 turon. The cashier said 'Go to the line hey' but these two insisted that they don't need to go on the queue. So my blood started boiling because I really hate getting cut off in line."
"Then the one cashier took 2 turons for the two cashiers that cut in line. One of them said 'Dat ours?' then the cashier gave the turon to the two cashiers that cut in line and were waiting at the counter to pay. So my blood boiled even more."
"Then I told the cashier 'Miss you actually let these two cut in line while there's so many people in line, you're being unfair to the people waiting at the back' the cashier said 'Ah the two, sir?' Then I replied 'Obviously, yes!' with a bit of an angry tone in my voice."
"The 2 cashiers that cut in line for the turon were already holding them then I told these other two who were assigned in the counter that 'If you don't give up the turon, I'll let your manager know, there's a lot of people in line hoping to buy it too.' Dont tolerate that kind of attitude. So unfair!"
"The two cashiers didn't really say anything and they took the turon from the other two that cut in line. I just don't get why there's these kinds of people that could already see that there's a line but are still forcing themselves in and would choose to be unfair to others."
"Given that they're employees of SM, shouldn't they be more understanding because we're customers where they work. I'm not saying that the customer is always right, I just wish that they also know what's right and wrong. And there, I was able to buy a Turon with Chocnut*. Delicious!"
"And the people in line behind me because they were also able to buy some. 😊"
Additional Context:
Turon in SM is priced at PHP 25 which is relatively cheap. It's bout 0.50 USD?
More comparatively, seeing as OP looked at least middle to upper class (we'll discuss that later), it would've been easily affordable to him, but maybe a bit of a struggle for the two cashiers since they make less than the national average and are also contractual, often losing their jobs and not having any benefits.
Chocnut - a popular Filipino peanut butter chocolate that has a powdery consistency. it often melts in your mouth and is widely popular and beloved across the country.
This shit blew up and I mean blew up like this was just over ONE thread
It blew up so much that TURON started trending in Filipino twitter
Most people agreed that although cutting in line is bad, it seemed like OP felt way too proud of himself and probably should've just let it go because they were probably underpaid, overworked employees who only had 15 minute breaks.
OP's replies were also reeeeally self-important like
Person 1: mygod girl just dont anger a hungry person. lols OP: I stood up not for myself but for the people who were in line too and willing to wait. Again, respect and let's just be fair. Person 2: Oh no, he rly thinks of himself as a hero after what he's done here 😭😭😭😭
People jokingly started calling OP patay-gutom (lit. dead-hungry), a term we use here for someone extremely hungry and typically those who are hungry because of extreme poverty so OP decided to prove the haters wrong by... telling people that he was actually a millionaire???

Person 3: You're a bit patay-gutom sis in this part. All that lashing for turon? Hahaha. Get a life girly! Person 3: This is the deleted tweet of sissy @/op's handle [Screenshot of OP's tweet with an attached censored image of one of his bank account information that shows that he has 1.5 Million Pesos. OP: Me who's patay-gutom and a girly with no life, is this okay now? Or do I SS my other banks? Jkkkk✌🏻]
So anyway, here's some of my favorite tweets translated!
The turon of SM, bow The turon of SM is queued for The sweet banana, sugar and chocnut Spreads at every bite Giving joy to those in line and the cashier Yet the poor cashier Who stood for ten hours Was denied two of the turon...
Next time you should just buy turon here I mean you have P1.5 M in Metrobank anyway [Image of the top of a menu for Amanpulo Clubhouse Restaurant]
The line for turon at SM jk: [screenshots of two videos of people slowly walking in a line in a crowded railway station]
motherfucker your thread is so long that if you just used the time you used to type to just go to the next sm to buy turon
------------------
It's officially been about a day and half since this happened but it's still trending right now which is pretty crazy. I don't think I've ever been this blown away with discourse over filo twitter until now. I will probably think about Turon Man for a good while.
#mayaposts#mayapino#filipino#philippines#twitter#twitter drama#discourse#twitter discourse#turon#bananas#sm manila#manila#idk what else to tag this as#turon man#long post#people calling him a karen is so funny ngl#like honestly i get getting pissed off by this and yeah i could see people i know do this kinda thing but posting about it and then adding#what's essentially an ''and then everyone clapped'' in the end really made this story personally#then op revealing himself as a millionaire? *chef's kiss*#all for a cheap fried banana snack that from a chain mall that's honestly pretty mid compared to other easier and cheaper places you could#get it from#i know i do mostly history stuff but this was just so funny my friends who are otherwise also disengaged from twitter had been laughing#about this man for at least an hour now#we'll probably reference him for days to come#i also decided to translate this manually because the auto-translate isn't giving it justice + it didn't translate some of the tweets fsr

Hey, I hope you are doing well.
I only just found this blog and spent awhile reaching your posts and a lot of them really resonated with me. So thank you for that. In a moment of bravery and sleep deprivation I wanted to send an ask.
I have been in serious ana recovery for a little over a year now, eight months of which I spent hospitalized or in a partial hospitalization facility, and the entire time my primary and pretty much only driving force for recovery has been my job. I am a daycare teacher and it is the first and only job to bring me real genuine joy. It was also the wake up call that I needed to actually try to recover because my restriction was heavily affecting my ability to work (energy levels, strength to pick the kids up, etc) And I care about my ability to take care of the kiddos more than anything. Even when I had to miss months of work to try to recover with professional help it felt worth it because I knew when I came back I could be the teacher they deserve. And for a little while it was true, I had more energy and strength and endurance. I was more mentally present and able to focus, I had more patience and honestly I felt like I was feeling the joy of it more deeply.
The problem I’m facing is that with the severe teacher shortage my daycare is now facing the very real possibility of permanently shutting down. This week alone we lost two teachers and now we don’t know how we are going to last through the summer months. The closer we get to what feels like the inevitable end of my job the harder it is to keep the urges at bay. It feels like my only reason to recovery is slipping through my fingers and I don’t know what to do. I know logically I can get another daycare job but it doesn’t feel that simple. I fear at the rate I have been going with relapse, that this will be the opportunity ana has needed to get me fully under again. I fear that I wasted all those months trying to recovery when I could have just been working with the kids and making the most of the time I have left. If my daycare shuts down I likely will never see any of the students again.
I guess I’m looking for advice on how to find reasoning to recover when it all seems to be slipping away? I know the ‘why’ is supposed to be a personal thing but now it’s leaving and I don’t know what’s left. My ‘coping mechanisms’ are what I spent months of treatment trying to conquer and now I don’t know how to deal with all the upcoming change in my life. I know I learned actual skills and coping mechanisms in treatment but the actual motivation to use them aren’t there. I know I have the knowledge I need to recover but I have no Why anymore if my daycare shuts down.
Even now after being in recovery for so long I only have a stable meal plan during the work week and the weekends it all falls apart. I fear that the habits will only grow if I don’t have work helping stabilize me.
The only other thing I have helping in the mental recovery is that after finishing my last round of PHP I adopted two cats. I hoped that they would help inspire me to stay healing as if I get worse enough to the point of needing hospitalization I don’t know who could take care of my cats. So I have a reason to stay out of the hospital because I love my cats dearly and don’t want to have to give them away, however what about the inbetween. There’s so many unknowns and I don’t know how to effectively cope with it and figure out a safe plan.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Hi, anon :)
I'm not going to lie, as a nanny, this made me tear up a little bit. Last year I went through my worst relapse to date, and the kids were my reason to get through it as well.
First things first, congratulations on being in recovery for a year! That's amazing!!
When I'm struggling to find reasons to stay in recovery, I focus on the absolute necessities. You've already done that (nice job!!). You said that the kids are the main reason, but the daycare may be shutting down soon. Your cats still live with you and depend on you 100%. Is there anything else that you would hate to have to leave/not be able to do if you were to relapse? Like if you were to leave your friends/family/partner? Or say the daycare doesn't close or you find another job, you won't be able to work if you go back to the hospital. Will you need that money you're missing out on? How will your bills be getting paid? etc etc
Whatever it may be, you need to keep that in the forefront of your mind during meal times, and whenever you need it throughout the day. Make it your phone wallpaper if you have to. You can write a list of things that matter most to you in the world (other than your ed) and look at that when you need motivation to keep going. In the app we used at my treatment center, it had a section for us to put pictures for reasons for our recovery. I put pictures of my friends and family, my dog, and my favorite bands because I wanted to be well enough to see them in concert one day. Looking at those when I was struggling was pretty helpful. You could do something similar. :) If you have to eat your meals at home sitting next to your cats as a reminder that they need you, then so be it.
Next, I'd say that you may want to have a chat with your boss if you haven't already. They might be able to tell you if you should start looking for another job or not. In the meantime, you still have kiddos who need you to be on top of your game, even if your daycare doesn't stay open much longer. Which I'm sorry about, by the way. That sounds very difficult. :(
One part of your ask really stood out to me the more I reread it. You fear you wasted all that time trying to recover, when you could've just been working with the kids and making the most of what time the daycare has left.
For starters, any time at all spent trying to recover is not a waste of time, no matter the circumstances. That's a huge thing to do, and you did it. You should be proud of yourself.
Secondly, I want you to think about what that time would have been like if you weren't in recovery. When I was nannying last year while in a relapse, it was very, very difficult. I had no strength to pick up the kids (like you mentioned), I couldn't run around with them, I wasn't eating while they were eating, and my mind was not there, with them, it was on food. I was simply not performing at my best because I was tired and hungry all the time. Would you have been able to enjoy that time with them if you were actively in a relapse? Would you have been able to keep up with them physically? Would you be treasuring that time or thinking about food/your next meal/your body/etc?
When I got out of that relapse, I realized how much more I enjoyed being with them and doing the things they love to do because I was able to focus on them.
Another thing that jumped out at me was your eating schedule. Are you not doing well on the weekends because you're not at work? If so, maybe think about it like this: You need to be nourished every day of the week, not just 5 of them, for those kids. If you're restricting every weekend, that doesn't put you in the best place to start the week on Monday morning. The kids need you to be nourished even when they're not there <3
I know you mentioned this, but I'd tell this to anyone who was facing a problem like yours. I think you need to start looking for other teaching jobs. Even if you're not applying for them, you still might want to look. That could give you a safety net so there's not much time in between jobs for you to relapse. If there aren't a lot of jobs like yours open, I'd check out nannying websites since you love working with kids. There are always so many people looking for nannies, and some of them are looking to hire quickly.
I really hope this was helpful and I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. Hopefully your daycare is able to stay open! <3
If I missed anything or you just want to talk, don't hesitate to send me another ask or a message!
